Kayam provides venue for the London Freeze -Music and Snowboard festival.
In October we erected a 6 pole Kayam in the iconic Battersea Power Station, alongside the largest temporary real snow snowboard jump in Europe (600 tons of real snow, over 100M long and even higher than a Kayam!).
This was the London leg of the LG Snowboard FIS world cup, featuring over 80 world-class snowboarders and skiers and televised for Channel 4's Freesports on 4 .
The event will be repeated again in 2010 at the same venue - another successful new venture in which Kayam are proud to have played a part www.londonfreeze.com

Valhalla at the O2 for Damon Albarn's Opera Monkey: Journey to the West
Although we have erected Kayams inside the O2 before, we faced several new challenges when erecting a Valhalla alongside Londons biggest venue, with a very restricted site and Londons flood defences to contend with. In conjunction with our engineers we developed some innovative new ways of anchoring the tent and a steel bridge to span a drain for the Blackwall Tunnel.
Production requirements for staging and rigging for a large lighting rig and aerial performances inside the tent were also very demanding, but careful planning with promoters AEG Live enabled the erection to go smoothly and to schedule.
The addition of a Valhalla alongside the O2 made a 8 week long run for Monkey possible.
