Peel Bay Festival: Isle of Man TT Races
In May 2007 we supplied a 12 pole, 8000 sq metre Valhalla for a series of concerts to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the world famous TT Races The tent was erected on the cliff tops above Peel Bay, dwarfing the town of Peel - and full in the face of any gales from the Irish sea! The tent performed magnificently - as did the Who, Madness and many other acts during the week long event. Such was the success of the event that a repeat is now planned for 2010. Valhalla used as a temporary replacement for The Point, Dublin
When the Point was closed for refurbishment, concert organisers needed an alternative venue.
The Valhalla was erected at Phoenix Park for a 4 week season of concerts in October and November. A very large "stadium size" stage was erected inside the Valhalla so business carried on as usual!
