Kayam provides the venue for the 2004 MTV European Music Awards
In November 2004, we supplied our 10 pole Valhalla structure for the MTV European Music Awards in Roma.

MTV chose the Valhalla as the highest and widest structure available, and used its 73m width and 24m height to the maximum with one of the most ambitious and spectacular production installations we have ever seen in one of our structures.

This prestigious show was broadcast worldwide on MTV, with Music Industry VIPs from all over the world attending so the turnout of the Valhalla had to be perfect! But with an intensive 2 week cleaning schedule, an army of crew attending to the finest of details, we provided a structure of the highest possible quality.

With the Coliseum just down the road, it can truly be said that ROMA2004 used one of the oldest and one of the newest of the worlds mass-entertainment structures. (We don't expect the Valhalla to still be around in 2000 years - but then the Coliseum cant be dismantled and moved halfway across Europe in a week!)

New Kayam Stage Cover launched at Rock in Rio, Lisbon
In 2004 the world famous Rock in Rio moved to Europe for the first time.

Arguably the biggest festival in the world, Rock in Rio has had a long standing tradition of creating something "special" on their festival sites. In need of a totally spectacular venue for their Roots Stage they approached Kayam to create a
unique stage. The Kayam Stage Cover was born.

15,000 Women strip off in the Valhalla!
A 10 pole VALHALLA unit was used both for changing facilities and stage entertainment by 15,000 women taking part in the Walk the Walk "Moonwalk" In aid of Breast Cancer Charities, this is the largest fundraising event of its kind and took place in Hyde Park in May this year
