Vacancies

Do not underestimate the demands this job will impose on you.
This is hard work and a hard life. Our tents are erected by hand and they’re heavy.
We don’t necessarily stop for bad weather, darkness, tiredness etc.
Our crews are normally expected to camp on site, and cater for themselves, in conditions which can sometimes be poor. However, if you can accept all of the above, for the right people it is a unique,
challenging and highly satisfying life.
It is seasonal, usually starting in April and ending in September/October.
A very high percentage of last year’s crew intend to do it again this year. Our crew members tend
to be young (mostly 16-25). Most had previous experience of physical/practical work.
None had previous experience working with tents.

We would like to know a bit about why you think that this job would suit you. What you have done before. What your interests are. etc.

We have to put groups of people together to form our crews. We try very hard to form groups which will work well together. This, as you can probably imagine, is crucial, since these groups work & live together 24 hours a day.
